This is my sheikah symbol tattoo. It was by far the most painful, just on account of the line work done before the coloring. It was done in two sessions. The outside work was a inspired combination of Himalayan Mandala art, as well as the book of lines and other various works by famed tattoo artist Thomas Hooper. The idea to use the mandalic pattern was conceived when i was playing zelda: ocarina of time for the 3ds. When i was watching the the crests of the lens of truth rotate when i discovered it, it kind of burned in my head. Then when i was dreaming, the crests exploded into fractals of vibrant colors and beautiful patterns surrounding the sheikah symbol/lens of truth. The lens of truth and what it represented to the sheikah, and the undoing of ganondorf. Was actually the beginning of my virtue to uphold honestly and loyalty to not only others, but myself as well. The surrounding pattern is representative of myself, vibrant and beautiful which is one truth i denied myself so long. I am beautiful no matter how my body may look, As long as i remain true to myself.
Oh// It was done by Jesse Buman @ The Drawing Room(Lawrenceville)   Pittsburgh, Pa
